Kids nutrition, feeding kids healthy food is easy…said no parent ever!
Supporting families in making healthy choices in many areas of their lives that allow children to grow and thrive is why Vibrantly Healthy Kids was born. Meeting countless parents with well meaning intentions that struggle to navigate feeding their children drove me to this work.
Teaching parents how to raise children that eat the rainbow and find joy in eating great food at a young age is my passion. I support parents in building a foundation of healthyfood relationships that can last their children a lifetime. Beginning this education while children are young, can save parents years of frustration, worry and food battles. Children’s connection to food can be deepened in countless ways beyond what is on their plate and I look forward to sharing that with you.
I believe most things in moderation can be a good thing, and I do not believe in a one size fits all model. I work with families to create individual plans that can fit into their lifestyle and values. Each decision we make about what we put into our bodies, onto our bodies, or into our homes are decisions that can influence our family’s health. My goal is to equip you with information that makes these choices easier and helps parents bring them to life in approachable ways. Shifting behaviors is a journey that starts with small steps and each small change can lead to great impact when it comes to your family’s health.
My education started in the Northern California grocery stores, farmers markets, cookbooks, pediatrician’s office, food blogs and continues as a student pursuing my masters in Functional Medicine and Human Nutrition. I am a family nutrition and health advocate on the path to becoming a Family Nutritionist.
Who I am:
I am a mother of two vibrant young girls who love food and are incredibly helpful (and messy) in the kitchen. We live in the heart of Noe Valley in the city of San Francisco, California. Our family loves living the urban life, hiking, enjoying the beauty found in the beaches and lanscape of Northern California, and being in nature. We seek products and choices in life that leave as little footprint on our environment as possible. Finding safe products is important to us.
Our family is pro-organic, anti-GMO healthy living enthusiasts. As a nutrition advocate, I spends hours reading books, blogs, studies, and articles to learn about health & nutrition. My greatest inspiration comes from my fellow practitioners, pediatricians, educators, play therapists, child psychologists, occupational therapists, speech therapists and healers doing amazing work to help children thrive. We celebrate our local farmers, farmers markets, and are passionate about knowing where our food comes from. I am here to help make these choices easier for other families.
